This meeting will bring together young scientist, young activists and young people living with HIV to review the latest data on HIV and to promote the HIV science in a youth friendly way in order to identify the challenges and opportunities in Mexico and Latin America towards an AIDS-free generation, based on prevention, care and control of HIV from a youth perspective and in the context of scientific research with a vision to the future. This inclusive meeting will offer presentations from young scientist, renowned clinicians and people working in the HIV field from the Latin America region and will promote the discussion and participation of other young attendees around youth-oriented topics including: - Local work of YPLHIV in Mexico and Latin America. - State of the art on HIV Cure, including the panel "The HIV cure vision of young people". - What can we expect from the science of IAS 2019? - Intergenerational work on the region. - Latest on HIV prevention. - Discrimination of YPLHIV. - Contemporary aspects for the healthcare of YPLHIV. - HIV and young women. - The culture, the art and the technology as a tool of incidence among young people. - The impact of dating apps on HIV prevention.
