Fundación Huésped, Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición “Salvador Zubirán” and CENSIDA will be the host of a regional two-day meeting with speakers from across Latin America presenting the hot topics in the management of HIV. Qualified professors from North America and Europe will be part of the faculty. The program is structured around plenary sessions & conferences in which time will be dedicated to Q&A and more interactive sessions with clinical cases and group discussions.
Active participation of the audience will be promoted. Most of the care providers in the region are unable to be part of the major AIDS-related meetings (IAS, CROI, etc). Participants will strengthen their capacities on clinical care and treatment of HIV positive patients. They will be encouraged to discuss current barriers for timely diagnosis and early ARV start.
